A family session is all about connection. Those genuine candid smiles and laughs. Not your typical stand beside each other stiff and smile, those pictures show what a person look like. My goal is to create images that make you feel! That when you look at them years down the road you smile because you are taken back to that moment when your children were just little, and you remember the sound of their laugh or the way they looked at you. These sessions are fun and relaxed. I'm happy to suggest some great locations depending on the setting you'd like (field, beach, forest, mountain etc.) and I am available within the greater Victoria area. If you'd like an adventure session please inquire, these can be like a mini day trip where I photograph your family exploring, or enjoying an activity with a beautiful variety of candids and some posed. An example: visiting Avatar Grove or Botanical Beach, a local hike, surfing in Tofino, etc.

Love love love capturing gorgeous portraits of our beautiful pets.I offer in studio portraits, great for kittens or other small animals. Well behaved dogs are definitely welcome as well.For the dogs though, I love capturing them having fun out in nature. I am happy to meet at one of our many beautiful off leash beaches or dog parks, or alternatively join on a small hike.Humans are welcome to step in for some pictures together too for all outdoor sessions!

these in studio Baby sessions are perfect for little ones from 6 months to 1 year+ to capture those milestones that go by way too fast! The gummy little smiles and chubby fingers and toes, and their sweetsmiles that light up their face. I love capturing these precious months as we know babies grow quick.I have a studio full of beautiful props to style the session, keeping things simple and timeless to showcase your baby and their personality. I have a selection of outfits and accessories that fit 6-12 month and some beyond that.

Who doesn't love a good scavenger hunt!? I started making hand drawn scavenger hunt pages when my kids were small to keep their interest when we hiked. They love being able to check things off their list as we explore our favourite parks and trails (and usually earn a treat at the end). I'm so happy to be able to offer these sessions with an extra special takeaway-your own double-sided nature scavenger hunt that you can use again and again! For this photo session, we'll visit a park or trail that's special to you while looking for amazing things in nature to check off our lists. We'll capture lots of candid moments as you and your kids explore our beautiful forests and of course leave time for some family photos surrounded by nature.

A mix of candid and posed that show connection! the Family Mini Session (20 min) is great for those with younger ones who may not be up for a longer session, or those only wanting a few images (15+ images) the Family Full Session (45-60 min) is ideal as it gives a longer time for children to warm up if they may be shy/uncertain, as well as provides for a greater diversity in background settings on location, and for creating beautiful albums (40+ images)
