Policies
7 days before the shoot date & time: 100% refundBetween 7 days and 24 hours before the shoot date & time: 50% refundLess than 24 hours before the shoot date & time: no refundBooking is considered cancelled when the client messages the photographer in writing Shoot may be extended with mutual consent. The possibility of an extended shoot should be discussed beforehand. The hourly package rate will apply.Reshoots can be arranged at a cost of 50% of the hourly package rate. Photographer retains copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion. The client may make unlimited reproductions of the Photographic Work for family and friends both online and offline. Photoshoots will typically take place rain or shine. For outdoor shoots, an agreed alternate location may be planned in advance, but not guaranteed..Shoots will only be cancelled and a full refund given in the most extreme circumstances. If the shoot can be rescheduled there will be no additional fees for the customer. Travel coverage for Greater Victoria, Sooke, Port Renfrew, and the Cowichan Valley. Additional travel expense may be applicable for other locations – please inquire. Additional hours are charged at $200.00/hr. 50% deposit at the time of booking, 50% remainder due 7 days after the photoshoot. Payments may be made by credit card upon receiving an invoice.
Rob seeks to authentically capture any couple's special day, with a focus on the natural movements and genuine moments, using gentle posing to coax out natural chemistry, rather than an ultra-composed, rigid editorial style shoot. From extravagant farmyard dream weddings, to intimate beach elopements, Rob is ready to work with any vibe. From moving like an apparition unnoticed in the background to directing family members on the forefront, Rob desires to capture images that will be timelessly enjoyed. This 8-hour Gold Wedding package includes a complimentary engagement shoot of you and your partner, an online gallery of colour and black & white photos with unlimited full-sized downloads with full print release (and I don't limit the number of photos you receive! I give everything I deem good), a custom slideshow, and a $480 print credit. This package allows me to capture all the moments of your special day from the small to the big. This 3 hour pre-wedding package includes 3 locations, 2 wardrobe changes, and 50 photos to look back on! This package is for couples who want a variety of photos, not just a one location and done situation. This package usually runs from late afternoon to evening so we can capture both day and night scenes. This package is perfect for those who want to capture their relationship in an authentic yet beautiful way before your special day. You're not looking for that mechanical, one size fits all experience, one that pushes you through a series of fake backdrops, forced poses and heavy photoshop filters. You want something real, photos that tell your story. It's not easy right? Finding a photographer capable of capturing the essence of your relationship in an artistic way. Well, now you've found one, and my speciality is putting people at ease in front of my camera. My strategy is simple. I listen to you. I learn about you. I engage with you. Even if you've never had professional photos done, I work with so many couples who are in the same boat.
