My question is, how can I photograph you in a way that preserves the feeling of your epic love story? How can I translate your unscripted moments into heirloom photographs that you and your future generations can come back to for years, decades and even centuries to come? It is from this place of inspiration that I approach each proposal and engagement session. My approach to photography is a delicate balance of organic emotion paired with gentle direction. With me, you'll never be left wondering what to do with your -insert body part here- hands, feet, belly button...baby toe? With me, you can both embrace your inner weirdo and let loose, because what's the point of photographs if they don't show the real you? All I need from you is a little bit of faith and a promise that you'll keep an open mind and heart throughout this process. In return, I'll give you my best shot at time travel by creating a way for you to go back to some of the best moments of your lives.
Policies
7 days before the shoot date & time: 100% refund Between 7 days and 24 hours before the shoot date & time: 50% refund Less than 24 hours before the shoot date & time: no refund Booking is considered cancelled when the client messages the photographer in writing Shoot may be extended with mutual consent. The possibility of an extended shoot should be discussed beforehand. The hourly package rate will apply. Reshoots can be arranged at a cost of 50% of the hourly package rate. Photographer retains copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion. The client may make unlimited reproductions of the Photographic Work for family and friends both online and offline. Photoshoots will typically take place rain or shine. For outdoor shoots, an agreed alternate location may be planned in advance. Shoots will only be cancelled and a full refund given in the most extreme circumstances. If the shoot can be rescheduled there will be no additional fees for the customer. Payment in full at the time of booking. Payments may be made by credit card upon receiving an invoice.
My name's Nancy and I am a wedding and portrait photographer serving Vancouver B.C. and beyond. I love love love being a hype woman for all my couples and clients and 100% love celebrating them on their wedding day. As much as I take my work seriously, each wedding and occasion that I get to witness is a true privilege and it's so heartwarming that I get to be a part of these milestones! Also, I'm a sucker for the dance floor, so if you're planning a party that includes some of that wiggly jiggly music, you best believe I'm gonna be out there gettin' jiggy wit it with the rest of your friends! And often, when going through photos weeks after the wedding day, I'll find myself smiling as I'm prepping a gallery for delivery because all those emotions come rushing back. I'm all in with my couples and clients. Besides that, you can find me at home with the hubs cuddling on the couch watching Grey's Anatomy, The Bachelor, or anything on Food Network. If it's summer time, then there's a small chance I'll be out hiking with friends or a much larger chance I'm chilling on the patio with the girls, a sweet glass of sangria and a homemade charcuterie board (Cheese, bread, and wine? Yum!) And if after all this you only remember three things about me, I want it to be this: I love Jesus, I love my husband, and I love my job, in that order. Jesus took hold of my life when I was 12 and I've never looked back. He is the backbone of everything I do, in work, in love, in life. Finding a good balance between home life and work life is always important and that's why I gotta keep some time reserved for my husbabe even through that busy season! The goal is always to stay true to the people in front of my camera, capturing them the way they are, and to uncover the real and raw beauty that every couple shares.

Looking for comprehensive wedding coverage, plus an added engagement shoot? The Adventurer Collection is for you! In addition to your wedding-day coverage, the engagement session includes up to three outfit changes and comes with 100 high-resolution digital images, delivered to you via online gallery within two weeks. Ready to Go Ahead?To confirm a booking, I ask for a 50% retainer fee and signed agreement. A signature request will be emailed for you to gain access to the online forms. The retainer fee can be paid via credit card to confirm the booking. From the moment I receive your signature and retainer fee, I'm yours!
