Safe to say we were BLOWN AWAY by this month's submissions! Everyone’s photos captured the theme beautifully, the talent in this community is overwhelming and inspiring. We sure are glad we left it up to the community to pick a winner because there’s no way we would have been able to decide. But alas, one photographer must prevail, and we’re excited to announce this month’s winner for the theme ‘Golden’ is Adam-Peter Suguitan! The community agreed that his submission for golden, taken centre court of the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Centre, is as accurate as Steph Curry’s right hand.
Here’s what Adam had to say about the breathtaking shot:
“It was towards the end of the pandemic and I was a bit skeptical when I received an inquiry asking if I was available to cover the first ever wedding at the Chase Center! So I asked if they would be up for a consultation and I got a quick reply saying absolutely. Still a bit skeptical, I took the call and the rest is history. The wedding took place on the 9th floor of the Chase Center in a space called “Above the Rim” which has a private street level entrance from terry francois blvd. Once the balcony ceremony was over, we were led by staff to the court where we were allowed 20-30 minutes for pictures. Not only was this day historic for the chase center, but it was historic to me and my career!”
