How does Focal Ignite work?

Focal Ignite is a 4 month marketing program created to get wedding photographers more inquiries. Focal manages your paid ads for you while guiding you through the booking process from start to finish.

Our team of marketing experts have developed wedding ad campaigns that deliver results. On average our Ignite members receive a new inquiry every day. 

Throughout your 4 month Ignite membership, you pay a monthly subscription fee of $500 plus an 18% commission on any bookings made through the Ignite program. Each month $250 of your subscription fee goes directly towards paid advertising, and $250 goes towards management fees. We’ve created this program with such a low management fee + a commission rate because we believe that your success is our success.

What’s included in my Ignite subscription?

Focal Ignite is a collaborative marketing program between you and our marketing team. Throughout the 4 months, we will run a total of 2 - 4 different paid ad campaigns and we will ensure that you approve of each campaign before it goes live.

In addition to running your paid ads for you, we will also be guiding you through the booking process from start to finish. What this means is that during the first few inquiries of each new ad campaign, we will provide you with email templates and step-by-step instructions on how to book each new lead.

We are always open to suggestions for new ad campaigns or different steps to the booking process that you want to try out. You can pitch any new ideas to our team and we will advise you for or against those changes.

How many inquiries can I expect to receive? How do I know these inquiries aren’t spam?

On average, our Ignite members receive a new inquiry every single day. These are not spam inquiries, it is not in Focal’s best interest to fill your inbox with fake leads. Remember, your success is our success.

Is Ignite for me?

Every Focal plan includes access to your website editor, hosting, custom domain integration, and gallery delivery. Ignite is for those who want to fill their wedding calendar and want someone to manage their paid ads for them. Ignite is perfect for the wedding photographer who wants to be backed up by a solid marketing team. Focal is excited to start getting you more inquiries! also include access to the full Focal Suite, including calendar integration, contracts, packages, automated payments, and more!

Can I customize my plan?

Absolutely! While each plan comes with its on features, you also have the ability to add new features onto your plan as you see fit. Whether you need a little more storage or you're looking for some assistance in writing your blogs, we have the answer to your business needs.

How do I get a custom domain?

Custom domains can be purchased from providers such as Google Domains or GoDaddy for ~$20 a year. Show off your brand with your own personal slice of the internet!

Are there any fees for the Focal booking system?

Focal is backed by Stripe's connect payment system. Payments through Stripe incur a standard 2.9% + $0.30c fee per transaction. Focal does not take any additional fees above Stripe's mandated transaction fee.Clients can pay by credit card, google pay, apple pay or even outside the platform.

Does Focal do gallery delivery?

You better believe it! Depending on your plan you will have 10GB or 100GB of gallery storage included in your subscription. If that’s not enough you can upgrade your storage by 100GB for $10/month or 5TB for $20/month (we know, it’s ridiculous, eat your heart out Adobe!).
