You'll get spontaneous and candid images of your family just being themselves. Because I'm just a quiet observer (no flash) you'll quickly and easily forget that I'm there. With a documentary session like this, you get to enjoy your family, just as they are, just being themselves. And, you'll get to BE IN THE PHOTOS with your kids... which your kids will treasure when they're older. They'll get to see mommy and daddy playing with them, cuddling them and just being with them during the day. Documentary photos are especially nostalgic because you'll have the memories of the places you actually spent the majority of your time in; your home and around your neighbourhood... not a special location that you went to once for a family portrait. This is something beautiful to pass on to them when they are older. *covid update: I am not currently doing any indoor documentary shoots until further notice.

The possibility of an extended shoot should be discussed beforehand. The hourly package rate will apply.Reshoots can be arranged at a cost of 50% of the hourly package rate. Photographer retains copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion. The client may make unlimited reproductions of the Photographic Work for family and friends both online and offline. Photoshoots will typically take place rain or shine. For outdoor shoots, an agreed alternate location may be planned in advance.Shoots will only be cancelled and a full refund given in the most extreme circumstances. If the shoot can be rescheduled there will be no additional fees for the customer. 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due on the day of the photoshoot. Payments can be made in cash on the day, or by credit card / e-transfer.
Like most parents, my favourite thing to photograph are my children! You want amazing photos, but you also want a fun and relaxed experience for your family. You're pretty sure they will "cooperate" for a short time, but if they're young, you know it won't last long before they lose interest and want to do something else. You're in luck!
