This is such an exciting time in your lives and I am so honoured you've considered me! BUT BEFORE WE GET INTO ANYTHING TOO SERIOUS... I want you to know that I truly believe planning your wedding or elopement day CAN be fun and if you make that your priority the results WILL be authentic to you. I pride myself on storytelling. This is NOT an 8-hour photoshoot. This is me, capturing your day as it unfolds. The raw emotion. The real feels. Theauthenticity. You two, truly as you are. No two days or celebrations are truly the same and should you choose me to capture your special day I want you to know I am in this 100%. I am here to help you capture a wedding day that truly reflects who you two are, that allows you to be free and have fun, and lets me tell your true + authentic story. WEDDINGS + ELOPEMENTS HAVE CHANGED! So throw out whatever rulebook you've shackled yourself to! You are 100% allowed to get creative on your day and I'm here to help you. Whether that's a couple hours of fun alone time between the ceremony + reception or a whole day of planning... I GOTCHU BOO! Booking with me means we can think outside the box and really create the day of your dreams.
Policies
7 days before the shoot date & time: 100% refund Between 7 days and 24 hours before the shoot date & time: 50% refund Less than 24 hours before the shoot date & time: no refund Booking is considered cancelled when the client messages the photographer in writing Shoot may be extended with mutual consent. The possibility of an extended shoot should be discussed beforehand. The hourly package rate will apply. Reshoots can be arranged at a cost of 50% of the hourly package rate. Photographer retains copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion. The client may make unlimited reproductions of the Photographic Work for family and friends both online and offline. Photoshoots will typically take place rain or shine. For outdoor shoots, an agreed alternate location may be planned in advance. Shoots will only be cancelled and a full refund given in the most extreme circumstances. If the shoot can be rescheduled there will be no additional fees for the customer. 50% deposit at the time of booking, 50% remainder due 3 days after the photoshoot. Payments may be made by credit card upon receiving an invoice.
Hi! I'm Taylor. I'm an intimate wedding + elopement photographer based between Vancouver Island and Alberta's Rocky Mountains -- but I've always got my camera and bag at the ready to head to whichever destination you've been dreaming of. I've had a camera in my hand since I was about 5 years old. It started with disposables I asked 'Santa' for every year, and by the time I was about 11, I had upgraded to asking for fancier point-and-shoot cameras for my birthday. I have a mixed style of shooting -- I love creating amazing intimate and romantic images, but I definitely lead with a more documentary or journalistic approach when it comes to capturing my couples. Which leads me to my next point! I actually have a diploma in Broadcast Journalism and worked in both radio and television for nearly 5 years! I worked multiple part-time positions at a radio station in Lethbridge, Alberta and volunteered at the TV station for about a year before finally snagging my first full-time gig. It was an experience I am truly grateful for and loved doing -- but near the end, I realized I wasn't always sharing the stories that meant the most to me. Since exiting the news industry, I've learned to take my training in storytelling and apply it in a new way. I discovered I'm passionate about people who are passionate about their lives, who love what they do or who they are with, and look at everything they do in life as an adventure. I want to tell stories of people who are not afraid to break the glass ceiling, who don't necessarily follow the path of least resistance, who are living their life with intention and purpose, who take on every obstacle with a smile on their face -- ready to tackle whatever comes their way. I want to tell stories of people like me -- those who don't want to let life pass them by, who stop and smell the roses and the ones that work every day to find what really sets their soul on fire.

This one hour pre-wedding package includes one location, one wardrobe change, and is for those who know that the before is just as important as the during and after! You want to capture your relationship in an authentic yet beautiful way before your special day. You're not looking for that mechanical, one size fits all experience, one that pushes you through a series of fake backdrops, forced poses and heavy photoshop filters. You want something real, photos that tell your story. It's not easy right? Finding a photographer capable of capturing the essence of your relationship in an artistic way. Well, now you've found one, and my speciality is putting people at ease in front of my camera. My strategy is simple. I listen to you. I learn about you. I engage with you. Even if you've never had professional photos done, I work with so many couples who are in the same boat. Part of my job as a photographer is to make you feel comfortable and over the years, I have learned how to bring anyone's true personality out for the camera to see.

The Sapphire Wedding Package (Full day + Engagement Session + Album!)

This package suites the majority weddings if you want the whole event captured.It includes a beautiful hand-made 8x8 wedding album in a wooden box.You probably want to spend most of your time with your family and friends, many of whom you might not have seen in a long time. I have a "get it done" approach. I know you want those formal group shots and some other must-haves, but you don't want to spend half the day taking them, right? I've got the experience to help you (and your guests) pose quickly and naturally so we can usually get the must-haves done in about 20 minutes.You also want beautiful couple portraits, and since you've got a photographer for 8 hours, you probably want to dedicate a fair amount of time to them. We can plan and time during your day to sneak away for 30 minutes or an hour and get those shots you've always dreamed of. We might even be able to arrange it just before sunset, but if we can't that's ok with you too, because what's most important to you is capturing the feelings and the joy of the event, after all you're getting MARRIED!!
