Do you think about that look in the eyes of the person you love, when you ask them that overwhelming question of living your lives together? The Surprise Proposal package is one of my most favourite packages to capture the unexpected teary-eyed happiness in your partner's face when they say, Yes! I hide somewhere in the location and capture all the magic that happens when you go down on your knees and ask that very special question. One of my clients once told me that they were so overwhelmed that they didn't even realise how their partner reacted and it was through the photographs that really bought them back to the moment, which means a lot to me! It makes me extremely happy to shoot so much joy, so much surprise and a big step forward in your life. It's a very moving day for the two of you, and I promise I will keep a shush! No spoilers from my end.

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU AND THE REAL GENUINE YOU. The love you share is unique and I want to preserve that, in photographs. I am a photographer and filmmaker who wants to document authenticity. I want you to see yourself in the photographs and you help me do that. I want to know how you met you two met, your favourite food, the movies you like, the music you groove to, are you a mountain or a beach person, and all the fun stuff! I think‚if it is true thatthere are as many minds as thereare heads, then there are as many kinds of love as there are hearts.‚Äù ~ Leo Tolstoy A little about me and why me? I am a ponderer. I love to look at the changing colours of the sunsets, at clouds and find shapes of all kinds in them. A good day to me is eating a good bowl of hot ramen, watching anime with my cat and my partner. I love to read in the sun, take long walks and listen to music. I started photographing almost a decade ago. I worked with some of the most amazing photographers in the world, like Joseph Radhik, when I began my journey. My education from Vancouver Film School in filmmaking helps me to expand my techniques in storytelling. I want to tell your story with my professional and personal experience to capture the 'real love stuff'. It is your turn. Tell me everything about you!
The truth is, eloping is an amazing way to get married in its own right. It's a loophole, a life hack. A way to have exactly the wedding day you've always imagined—without any of the fuss you don't care for. This is what makes elopements sooo special. It's also what makes them my favourite type of wedding to document! Do you want to spend the day hiking in the mountains? Going to the beach and splashing in the shallow waves? Getting hitched and eating or just having some drinks? Or, do you want to spend your day at home, barefoot, in PJ's, sharing your vows in your backyard under patio strings lights next to a bonfire? Do you need an outdoorsy, adventurous, game-for-whatever-you-have-in-mind, co-conspirator/photographer? Because if you are, I just might be your girl! If you consider yourself pretty chill and low-key, if you feel a bit uncomfortable about the idea of a big wedding, or if you dream of getting married in a more remote location, then it might be right for you! If you're planning to elope and still need to find the right photographer for you, drop me a line. We'll grab a bevvy, chat about your perfect day together, and I'll even help you plan. I can't wait to hear what you've been daydreaming about!
