Although it may not show, Terence has been a photographer for the last decade, and thanks to his Asian genes, keeps looking young while he's at it, but he likely might be just Photoshopped anyway. With a background in studio work, Terence is masterful in helping his clients get comfortable in front the camera, whether it be babies or large groups of people. Focusing on genuine expressions and capturing memories, his skills have evolved since then to cover weddings, engagements and portraits, and he always carries the fundamental value that it is more important to click with the person than to click that shutter. When he's not behind a camera, Terence enjoys spending time with his wife on food adventures and forced hikes after recently getting married in July 2018. He also has a passion for personal electric vehicles (PEVs) and can be found riding the streets of Vancouver on his electric unicycle. Terence is also one of the official photographers for the graduation ceremonies of UBC, Douglas College, and Capilano University, and has led the official photography team for the BMO Vancouver Marathon, Rock n' Roll Marathon, Granfondo Marathon races in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
A wedding day is a celebration more than anything, so let's capture the celebration and give yourself a beautiful memory to look back on. I want you to be able to put yourself back into the moment where you said 'I do' or 'heck yes' and relive the emotions. This package is perfect for my couples that are looking for simple coverage of the especially BIG moments of the day (e.g. ceremony, family photos, mingling with guests). It is a great option for couples looking for fewer hours of coverage but who would still appreciate having high-quality images of their loves ones and the moments they shared. I want you to look back and remember the ear-to-ear smile as you saw your spouse for the first time, or the moment you burst into laughter at your best friend's stand-up improv. More than anything, I want you to walk away from this meaningful day knowing that you were able to do and experience everything you possibly wanted.

I specialize in candid documentary. My philosophy: embrace the weird in you. The quirks, the smirks, and the unguarded moments are the ingredients to making a wedding album an authentic representation of you. When I'm in the zone, I become some sort of ninja where I blend in and not be obtrusive to anyone or anything. But I can make my presence known whenever I'm needed. I can easily transition from being inconspicuous to being the boss when it's time to wrangle family members for the family photos. I capture weddings and events from as many different points of view and angles as I can. I love to document the nuisances that occurred throughout the day which I feel like brings the whole story together. Whether it's the detail of the decor, or the raw moments shared between two individuals, or even the tantrums of the flower girl or the ring bearer – you can bet I've got them in my reel! Above everything else, I want YOU to feel COMFORTABLE in your own skin, ENJOY the experience and be CONFIDENT that you have one less item to think about on your wedding day.

"It's not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters." Elopements are such beautiful occasions of love. I especially love elopements because of the intimacy they afford: it's just you, your loved one, and the people that mean the world to you. As a photographer, it's my goal to ensure you'll have gorgeous elopement photos to look back on for the rest of your lives -- from the vows, to the kiss, to the formal photos with your closest family and friends. My camera has followed me everywhere for over nine years. My style as a photographer is to look for the little moments: when you're brimming with happy tears walking up the aisle, or bear-hugging your best friends who you haven't seen in months. With me, you can rest assured that those priceless moments won't go missed -- and you'll be able to keep reliving them long after you've said "I do."
