Although it may not show, Terence has been a photographer for the last decade, and thanks to his Asian genes, keeps looking young while he's at it, but he likely might be just Photoshopped anyway. With a background in studio work, Terence is masterful in helping his clients get comfortable in front the camera, whether it be babies or large groups of people. Focusing on genuine expressions and capturing memories, his skills have evolved since then to cover weddings, engagements and portraits, and he always carries the fundamental value that it is more important to click with the person than to click that shutter. When he's not behind a camera, Terence enjoys spending time with his wife on food adventures and forced hikes after recently getting married in July 2018. He also has a passion for personal electric vehicles (PEVs) and can be found riding the streets of Vancouver on his electric unicycle. Terence is also one of the official photographers for the graduation ceremonies of UBC, Douglas College, and Capilano University, and has led the official photography team for the BMO Vancouver Marathon, Rock n' Roll Marathon, Granfondo Marathon races in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
I specialize in candid documentary. My philosophy: embrace the weird in you. The quirks, the smirks, and the unguarded moments are the ingredients to making a wedding album an authentic representation of you. When I'm in the zone, I become some sort of ninja where I blend in and not be obtrusive to anyone or anything. But I can make my presence known whenever I'm needed. I can easily transition from being inconspicuous to being the boss when it's time to wrangle family members for the family photos. I capture weddings and events from as many different points of view and angles as I can. I love to document the nuisances that occurred throughout the day which I feel like brings the whole story together. Whether it's the detail of the decor, or the raw moments shared between two individuals, or even the tantrums of the flower girl or the ring bearer – you can bet I've got them in my reel! Above everything else, I want YOU to feel COMFORTABLE in your own skin, ENJOY the experience and be CONFIDENT that you have one less item to think about on your wedding day.

The truth is, eloping is an amazing way to get married in its own right. It's a loophole, a life hack. A way to have exactly the wedding day you've always imagined—without any of the fuss you don't care for. This is what makes elopements sooo special. It's also what makes them my favourite type of wedding to document! Do you want to spend the day hiking in the mountains? Going to the beach and splashing in the shallow waves? Getting hitched and eating or just having some drinks? Or, do you want to spend your day at home, barefoot, in PJ's, sharing your vows in your backyard under patio strings lights next to a bonfire? I'm your gal! If you consider yourself pretty chill and low-key, if you feel a bit uncomfortable about the idea of a big wedding, or if you dream of getting married in a more remote location, then it might be right for you! If you're planning to elope and still need to find the right photographer for you, drop me a line. We'll grab a bevvy, chat about your perfect day together, and I'll even help you plan. I can't wait to hear what you've been daydreaming about!

A wedding day is a celebration more than anything, so let's capture the celebration and give yourself a beautiful memory to look back on. I want you to be able to put yourself back into the moment where you said 'I do' or 'heck yes' and relive the emotions. If you're looking for the most comprehensive, don't-miss-a-moment coverage of your wedding day, the Rocky Mountain Juniper Wedding Package is the one for you. This package is perfect for couples who want to look back and cherish every single moment of their special day. I want you to remember the ear-to-ear smile as you saw your spouse for the first time, or the moment you burst into laughter at your best friend's stand-up improv. I want you to have the photo proof that yes, your breakdancing moves really did tear up the dance floor, and I want you to have the beautiful formal photos with your family that you deserve. More than anything, I want you to walk away from this meaningful day knowing that you were able to do and experience everything you possibly wanted. Bonus: When you book the Rocky Mountain Juniper package, you and your partner will also get a free engagement photography session in the lead-up to the wedding (digitals included).
