Focal is hiring a Creative Onboarding Specialist to join our growing Focal team. We are a Victoria based company that offers an all-in one Website & Booking System for photographers. Focal offers its employees a competitive salary, flexible working conditions (preference for in-person), room for growth within the organization, and other unique opportunities (past co-op students have had the opportunity to travel to Vegas and Banff, with the next conference in Maui).
This is full-time (35-40 hours/week). Co-op students are welcome. The role starts January, and runs until April 2023, with a possibility of extension thereafter.
The goal and responsibility of the Creative Onboarding Specialist is to build Focal photographer's websites, help get them set up on Focal's booking system, and ensure their continued success on the Focal system.
What you'll do:
Website Design: You'll design and build websites for photographers using Webflow based on their feedback. You'll take the time to understand each client and help execute their vision for their website.
Customer Success: You'll help photographers get set up on their new websites and with using Focal's booking system.
What you're good at:
Web Design & Aesthetics: Web design experience is an asset but not needed. You have an eye for aesthetics and design.
Writing: You’re an excellent writer. You know the difference between a run-on sentence and a sentence fragment. You know how to distill a story and make it clear, concise, and engaging.
Initiative: You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
